'mike shiflet, the honcho of gameboy records and francisco meirino who used to be in phroq. got together at a raszen in osaka and while drinking too much japanese beer recorded this. a sizzling static becomes relentless as weird electronic insects buzz around. somebody attached a contact mic to a tatami mat and beats on it mercilessly. it all changes into a high pitched whiny rumble of junk electronic that goes on forever. in a destroyed package.'--AMK, Banned Production label description

YES! TONETTA on LP!!! If you have not yet heard / seen TONETTA, go to Youtube, type in his name and witness for yourself while your jaw lays on the floor and you constantly look over your shoulder. Comes with a CD version that is exact as the LP. Silkscreened covers. Numbered edition of only 500 copies. The below review from Weird Canada is pretty dead on:

Long overdue debut LP from Toronto-based sexual hyperbole that collects material recorded between 1983 and 2009. Tonettas recipe for success consists of wasted erotic lo-fi dripping in wet bass, fruity drum loops, and occasional 80s guitar sleeze: backdrops for his variety show of graphic sexual acts, perverts, prostitutes, drug use, hedonism and occasional political rhetoric. Once a song is recorded, Tonetta dons a costume (g-string, Kabuki mask, demon makeup, etc), takes off most of his clothes, and dances. After the initial sexual overload, a gripping desire to break through the facade takes over. The songs are compelling enough to dive right in and the LP, removed from the visceral overload, allows a new entry-point into Tonettas garish existence. As a compilation of material spanning 25 years, the album is one highlight after another, from the soaring 80s cheese of Drugs Drugs Drugs and I Want to Marry a Prostitute (which could be a viagrafied Jimmy Buffett song), to the Bowie-esque album standout Im Still a Slave. In the tradition of musical oddities like Jandek, J.T. IV, or more recently Blank Dogs, Tonetta is a mystery best left unsolved. Weird Canada grants this our highest recommendation. --- www.WEIRDCANADA.com

BLOODLUST!

Creepy shit from Jonathan Canady aka DEATHPILE.

'CD edition of out-of-print cassette, originally released in a numbered edition of 50 copies in 2006; The Fortieth Day is the duo of Isidro Reyes and Mark Solotroff, both key players in the power- electronics outfit BLOODYMINDED, a unit known for its confrontational live shows. Here, Solotroff and Reyes show off their kinder, gentler side, using guitar, bass, and synth to improvise 'sustained, withering blasts of high-pitched noise that are as distinct from one another as spotlights sweeping across the night sky; jackhammer clatter, jet-engine whines, and forlorn keyboard melodies dart in and out of those huge sounds with the grace and impunity of plovers picking a crocodile's teeth' [Bill Meyer, Chicago Reader]. Professionally duplicated CD, single panel, double-sided insert; black and white artwork; in jewel box with shrinkwrap; Released in 2008''---LABEL DESCRIPTION

11th in the Bloodlust! Private series. 'Bereft is Peter Lee from Force Of Nature Productions (Rhode Island). For this solo project, which has had very limited releases on Truculent Recordings and on Antihumanism Records, Lee crafts a mixture of old-school industrial and power-electronics, with intense vocals - tempered by dark, death-industrial-influenced, ambient soundscapes.'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

Insanely short CD single from my favorite leatherboys. 3 quick blasts of the rough stuff.

BLOODYMINDED's masterpiece from a few years back. Totally weird Power Electronics release. Longer tracks on this one...really moving into a strange territory which fully blooms on Gift Givers... Killer to check out the transition.

Welp...so far...I gotta say.. RECORD OF THE YEAR... Thought it couldn't get more fucked up than GIFT GIVERS??? Oh SHIT! Man...the dudes stright up created a new GENRE w/ this release... Or is there someother POWER ELECTRONIC SOUND POETRY release out there??? Serious...TRUE CHICAGO POWER ELECTRONIC SOUND ART is what their new stickers should read... Disc is FUCKING NUTS. No Electronics... JUST FEEDBACK AND VOICE...but NO WORDS! Just gutteral screams and groans and the SOUND OF THE FUCKING END.. THE SOUND OF HOPELESS DISASTER... TOTAL PANIC AND DISASTER. Amazing Release!! And Possibly the Guiness Book Winners for MOST FUCKED UP SONG TITLES EVER!

'CD edition of out-of-print cassette, first released in a numbered edition of 100 copies for the April 2007 BLOODYMINDED tour, then in a numbered edition of 25 copies for the Leaderless: Underground Cassette Culture Now exhibition at Printed Matter in New York City; Special conceptual recordings approved by Pierpaolo Zoppo, himself; Professionally duplicated CD, single panel, double-sided insert; in jewel box with shrinkwrap; Released in 2008'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

HAd these for a while, but for some reason they never made it into the catalog. Killer CD of live collage? Truly warped feedback and buried vocals. Sold out from Label. Edition of 200.

'A year has passed since the release of the first-ever piece of Climax Denial vinyl on BloodLust! [B!079 'Ritual Smothering' b/w 'Mean Dominant' 7-inch], and now I am pleased to present this artist's most adroitly composed full-length recording, to date; Comprised of nine pieces --- including a befitting cover version of the delightfully indelicate Deathpile song, 'Breaking A Doll' --- 'You're Never Safe' is an excellent showcase of the unique blend of power-electronics, death-industrial, and noise --- but let's just call it music from now on --- that Milwaukee, Wisconsin's Climax Denial, AKA Alex Kmet, is increasingly well-known for; This CD was skillfully mastered by Thomas Garrison (Control, Exsanguinate) at Misanthrope Studios in Santa Cruz, California; Professionally duplicated CD, single panel, double-sided insert; color artwork; in jewel box with shrinkwrap; Released in 2008'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

Last winter, when BLOODYMINDED was preparing to go on tour in the U.K., I was put in contact with Lee Stokoe, who was touring at the same time as us, under the name Inseminoid, with George Proctor of Mutant Ape. Not only was Lee beyond accommodating about letting us piggyback on the Inseminoid/Fecalove tour, but he was kind enough to also drive us around the U.K. for several days. I returned to the States with a thick stack of Culver CDs, which took some time to get through. I was most pleased that I enjoyed the music on the CDs as much as I enjoyed meeting and spending time with Lee, himself. After hearing more and more Culver recordings, as well as a few excellent psychedelic/noise CDs by Stokoe's band Marzuraan, I was convinced that I needed to release something by him. "Sugar Tip" is that thing, packaged in handsome collage artwork created by Stokoe for this release. One of the main things that I have noticed about this CD is that it feels like the air gets sucked out of the room when I listen to it. While it is far denser and more complex a sound than Damion Romero's work, the two share the odd ability to move air around with sound in a fairly unsettling way. "Sugar Tip" is definitely heavier than drone, but it is definitely not simple harsh noise. I might refer to it as blackened psychedelic noise. Oh, and do not forget that this guy plays in Skullflower, these days, too. Professionally duplicated CD, single panel, double-sided insert; color collage artwork; in jewel box with shrinkwrap; Released in 2008

'CD edition of out-of-print cassette, originally released in a quickly-gone, numbered edition of 50 copies, in late- 2006; Re-mastered for maximum digital impact in 2008 by Greh Holger [Hive Mind, Cleanse, Chondritic Sound label, etc.]; Here is the original release statement: As a follow up to the great 'Feral Towers' 7-inch [B!054], we are pleased to be releasing newly recorded material from Columbus, Ohio's David Reed, also of Luasa Raelon. 'Hidden' succeeds the recent, excellent Envenomist CD, 'Abyssal Siege' [PACrec] and for this seven song cassette, Reed continues to create somewhat shorter compositions that flow perfectly from one to the next. Dark, echoing, analog synthesizer music, perfect for winter's approaching icy embrace. Professionally duplicated CD, single panel, double-sided insert; black and white artwork; in jewel box with shrinkwrap; Released in 2008.'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

'Following in the tradition of the many great Italian artists who have worked with BloodLust!, including Mauthausen Orchestra, The Soldality, Iugula-Thor, Sshe Retina Stimulants, Sigillum S, Atrax Morgue, Murder Corporation, and Dead Body Love, I am pleased to release this new CD by Fecalove. BLOODYMINDED played five shows with this deviant, during our 2007 U.K. tour, and each night, I was struck by the unique performance style that I witnessed, as well as by the great blend of power-electronics and harsh noise that I heard. This CD offers a view of both the crystal-clear yet filthy sound generated by Fecalove, and the tasty and quite obscene artwork created by Nicola Vinciguerra. You really ought to be 18 years old to purchase this thing, okay? Professionally duplicated CD, single panel, double-sided insert; EXPLICIT color artwork; in jewel box with shrinkwrap; Released in 2008'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

A dirty dirty drag thru the dirt. This CD is an hour of crude and dirty electronics dragged unwillingly thru the yard of Gacy. The inspiration for Connelly and Olson's new project Birth Refusal. You really do feeljust like really dirty after listening to this.

Another killer CD in the IA archive series. This is a reissue of a cassette from 1988. More dirty Power Electronics for your pleasure. IA have such a strange vibe, both in recordings and visuals. Always killer stuff...

'Pressed in an edition of 300 copies; White vinyl; White labels with minimal black text; Unmarked white cardboard sleeves - sealed on three sides; Black and white insert; Locrian's first appearance on vinyl sees the duo of Andre Foisy and Terence Hannum distilling their specific take on deconstructed metal trance music down to just over a dozen minutes of finely balanced, passive/aggressive, shimmering psychedelic drone; Includes locked-groove on B-side; private series number seventeen' ---LABEL DESCRIPTION

aka MAUTHAUSEN ORCHESTRA...Classic shit reworked and KILLING!

'AKA Mauthausen Orchestra; Pierpaolo Zoppo returns with seven new songs, recorded for BloodLust! in 2006, as a follow-up to his 'Smooth Hate' 7-inch (B!065), which immediately sold out of its limited edition of 100 copies - and the 'Forbidden Ground' private series 7-inch (B!056); Perfectly cold, austere, and dark analog material - for fans of Zoppo’s contemporary work, yet carrying enough weight behind it to please all but the most jaded fans of his early Mauthausen Orchestra recordings - as recently unearthed for the lavish Broken Flag box set released by Vinyl-on-demand in 2007; This CD is packaged in a black and white and color Digipak, designed by ex-BLOODYMINDED member, Megan Emish; Approximately 46-minutes in length; Released in 2008'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

'Excellent Manipulation of Distorted Tape Death,' which was released on BloodLust! as a four cassette, six-hour box set [4 x C-90], limited to 50 numbered copies, housed in a large vinyl box. The project utilized progressive analog tape generations and sound fidelity decay as both a direction for the concept that we worked under and for the sounds that we manipulated and ended up with. In 2006, NG5361 revisited those recordings, in a more digital manner, and he came up with two new masters: 'The Edit' - a disc of eight tracks, each drawn from one of the original cassette sides -- and 'Super Density Assemblage' - two self-explanatory, 28-minute-long tracks, built from multiple sections of the box set. This is the second of these new masters to be released on CD. Professionally duplicated CD, single panel, double-sided insert; color artwork; in jewel box with shrinkwrap; Released in 2008)'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

'In 1996, NG5361 [also of Sigillum S] and I collaborated on a recording project entitled, 'Excellent Manipulation of Distorted Tape Death,' which was released on BloodLust! as a four cassette, six-hour box set [4 x C-90], limited to 50 numbered copies, housed in a large vinyl box. 'Neil Jendon is a fixture in the Chicago music scene, who has shifted between roles as a psychedelically-driven guitarist in the indie/alternative band Catherine [TVT Records], a more experimentally-minded guitarist in the avant-garde group Zelienople, and as half of the group Abduction [with Michael Miley], through which I first witnessed Neil's vivid modular synthesizer playing. I originally came to know Neil in the early 1990's, and if I recall correctly, we bonded over the U.K. band, Loop. But maybe that was his band mate, Jerome? In any case, after losing touch with each other for a long measure of time, I have seen and heard much more of Neil's work in the last two years - and more recently - after seeing him destroy a small local venue with a live solo modular synth set - I knew that it was time to talk to him about a release for BloodLust! Neil's skill as an improviser may come into play on 'Invisibility,' but at the core of these recordings there is what seems to be a familiarity with the palette of early industrial music, be it Maurizio Bianchi, Lustmord, instrumental Throbbing Gristle [grittier than 'After Cease to Exist,' certainly], etc. Neil recently played an excellent set, opening up for Consumer Electronics, in Chicago, and it struck me how well his flavor of synth sits with other types of noise and experimental music, even if I know that on one hand, he comes from a more psychedelic, shoe-gazer-aware place. Now if I could only get around to seeing his post-Catherine, dream-pop band Buglette play live... Another CLASSIC SLOGUN reissue in this new BLOODLUST!/CIRCLE OF SHIT series... BEYOND BRUTAL! Highly RECOMENDED!!

Volume 3 of this fuckin KILLER reissue series of older SLOGUN cassette material. Menacing and pretty fucking Psychedelic synth work and punishing delayed vocals. Crual as FUCK.... HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!

'This is the fourth release in the 'History of Violence' re-issue campaign. 'Hunting Humans' was originally released on cassette, in 1996, by the now-defunct Italian label, Less Than Zero (LTZ022) - in over-sized, folded, A5 packaging, with a handsome vellum overlay. Like the first three re-issue CDs, the audio for this re-mastered version was prepared in Lille, France, by Jerome Nougaillon, while John Balistreri's graphic design follows the standard that he created for the ongoing series; True Crime Electronics'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

'This is the fifth release in the Slogun "History of Violence" re-issue campaign. "Days Of Agony" was the sixth Slogun full-length recording, originally issued on cassette in August 1997 by the cult Italian label, Murder Release. The cassette was housed in a white vinyl clamshell case with a black and white cover that featured a very timely raccoon-eyed picture of Karla Homolka, on the front, and the now infamous yearbook photograph of Homolka's deceased sister, Tammy Lyn, on the back. Trainspotters may also want to take note of the title of track six -- and while you are at it, check into track four -- and then dig very deep regarding the title of track three... Like the first four re-issue CDs in the set, the audio for this re-mastered version was skillfully prepared in Lille, France, by Jerome Nougaillon, while John Balistreri's graphic design follows the standard that he created for the ongoing series; This CD is packaged in a shrinkwrapped jewel box with a four-panel color, and black and white, booklet; "The Angels Are In Pain..." FTW. Released in 2007'---LABEL DESCRIPTION

'Piles' is a breakdown from the middle of a live song called 'Under the Face,' which was recorded in September, 2006. The song is usually only about two-minutes long, but on that night, the breakdown itself lasted for 7-minutes. BROKENRESEARCH

'Zac Davis who has had his Michigan rights revoked for theft finds himself on the very last brokenresearch release to ever have him associted with said label. Heads up with percussion hater Hell Hall this is some Billy Cobham vs. Coryell under dirt filled microscope for the mass of listeners who post up as both noise and fusion fans. A one sider with brutal force, this is an excellent companion to 'Built for Nothing' and really that is the most fitting title for a group that had action for about ten minutes until our guitarist decided that friends are for using.'---LABEL DESCRIPTION
